My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Cheyenne! I spent two years in a home with several other dogs and our owner never let us outside. I didn’t have the luxury of exploring new places or meeting other humans until the day they abandoned us. We were tied to pole at a vet's hospital. Talk about scary!!

I was taken to SVACA where I was in shock!
I was too scared to move and couldn’t even stomach the thought of eating.

The pleading for help look in my eyes caught the attention of a special girl and now I am in her home being fostered, learning that life really is good!

I have a 5 year old human foster brother and we are great friends! He and I act goofy together and when I’m not bombarding him with puppy kisses, we can be found playing fetch together.

I LOVE stuffed toys and will collect them and snuggle in my bed with them. I'm good with cats. I am quiet and patient and housebroken. I am a lot of fun, love play, go for walks and sniff everything under the sun. I also really like to cuddle.

I am still learning that new people are not as big and scary as they look. I am a tiny girl after all, I weigh 5.2lbs. I tend to warm up a little faster with treats, just a little hint.

My foster mom tells me that one day someone special will come along, a family or person with patience, that understands I am still learning about the world.I do so want a family I can call my own.
