Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Happy New Year! My name is Lucy II, but you could call me Lucky Lucy and it would be very appropriate. You see, I was found all alone by some railroad tracks (and I was NOT "working on the railroad, all the live- long day"). I can't tell you my whole story but I might have been a Puppy Mill mommy. The nice Vet doctor said that I have had a LOT of litters and, now that I am a Senior (around nine years old), I probably "lost my job" (which is a polite way of saying I was thrown out with the rest of the garbage). But things are much better for me now that I am in a warm home with plenty of food and treats, and four other dogs to play with.
Here are some of the things that make me so special: I'm a beautiful Red and White Beagle (which you don't see every day!), I am in excellent shape if I do say so myself (a petite little girl weighing 23 pounds), I love to go for walks and I'm pretty good on a leash. I love to snuggle with the humans that live here and I love to sleep next to one or more of the other dogs. I love to eat my meals and any treats that are given to me and I'm very gentle, calm and friendly. My tail loves to wag and wag and wag, especially when I'm outside sniffing all the interesting smells. I love riding in the car and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE children who pet me and let me sit on their laps!
As you can tell, I'm perfect in EVERY way. I am 100% crate trained but do not need to sleep in one, I can roam around my foster home all day and everyone sleeps in the same room at night, where I sleep on one of the dog beds. Wouldn't I make a wonderful addition to your family? I can't wait to meet you and be your new best friend!
