Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ADOPTION PENDING!
Izzy came from Southern IL. Her owner was turning her into an animal control facility. Izzy's owner did not have the money to properly care for her. She came to us with a skin infection from a severe flea infestation. Her coat was not well, as you could tell she was not fed good quality food. Izzy has been to the vet and was treated for this with antibiotics and is now on a good food. She also received all of her shots, is heartworm and flea-free and will be spayed in the coming weeks. She is working on potty-training with her new foster mom.
Izzy would be best in a home without small children. She does great with adults. She does not like to be kenneled at all. She has anxiety attacks and will become fearful when in a pet carrirer or kennel, so she needs to be kept in a home, where she can stay in one room when the owner is not home. She would be great for a retired individual. If you are interested in Izzy, please apply by visiting: http://www.mcpawscare.org/adoption-form.php. Once your application is received, you will be contacted. Izzy should be ready for adoption by the first of February.
