My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am a 2-year-old neutered male German Shepherd Dog mix. I weigh about 72 pounds, and I'm the biggest lap dog you'll ever meet! I'm also pretty darn handsome, if I do say so myself. As you can see from my pictures, I'm in great shape, with a perfect set of pearly white teeth. And check out that adorable floppy ear! I'm a looker, that's for sure! And I'm also potty trained. I tend to be shy at first when meeting new people. But if you give me a chance to warm up, you'll find that I'm a super sweet guy with a tail that never stops wagging, and I've got a great smile that will definitely win you over! I love to get pets from my human friends, and I get along fantastically with all my doggie pals, too. I used to get pretty nervous when left by myself, so CageFree sent me to stay with a dog trainer-behaviorist & I've gotten so much more comfortable spending time alone. Right now, I do really well as long as I'm crated at night & when left unsupervised.

Not much is known about my past, but I do know that I was living on the streets, when someone picked me up and brought me to a high-kill city shelter. It was New Years Eve, and I was hoping I wouldn't have to spend it in that scary place! But I sat there for a week, lonely and bored. Finally, CageFree came to my rescue and brought me to live at their facility. Lucky me! So now here I am, waiting for my furever family to come along, while CageFree is working hard to find the right home for me. I am still a young pup, so I would love to have an active family to take me on all kinds of adventures! I'd probably do best in a home without small children. If I am the kind of dog you've been looking for, please contact CageFree right away and tell them you want to meet me!
