Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, my name is Maggie (#517), and I am a two year old female Lab/Mastiff mix. I have been checked out by a veterinarian and spayed. I received a set of preventative shots, have been wormed, and tested negative for heartworms. I have been microchipped as well.
My past is very fuzzy to me. I was picked up as a stray and brought to the shelter. I was pregnant at that time. I had my babies but sadly they all passed away because my health during the pregnancy was very bad. It took me awhile to recovery from that sad chain of events.
I am now healthy and feeling much better. The volunteers love to walk me because I walk gently on leash. None of the dragging the volunteers around the park. I just want to be by your side and will beg for a treat. I am timid when you first meet me. t takes me a few minutes to decide if you are a kind person. Once I get past that I am a sweetie. I am very smart.
Please open your heart and your home to me. Come to the shelter so we can have a nice meet-n-greet.
