My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Karmin is a super sweet, 2 1/2 year old (dob 3/25/12), female, chihuahua, dachshund mix who weighs only 6 lbs. She deserves to be a princess in a new home. She truly is a GREAT dog. She is: - Wonderful with other dogs (likes to play and cuddle with them) - Total lap dog - Is quiet (not yappy) - good with cats: ignores them or tries to eat their food. If they hiss at her, she backs away. - friendly with ALL people. - a great travel buddy. - Crate-trained - so very very sweet!!! Due to her small size, her furever home is restricted to a family with older children (no toddlers). She would be fine with fur-siblings but would also be fine as an only spoiled princess. Her furever family must also be willing to provide her a warm place to potty during the harsh winter months. Her paws are tiny and her hair is short. She cannot stand to be outside for too long. A garage with puppy pads would be fine or a laundry room with puppy pads would be another great idea. Karmin was an owner surrender from a family who turned her into an outside dog after she had an accident on the carpet. We contribute the accident to stress. Karmin arrived in rescue with pressure sores from her wooden dog house, scabs on her ears, and was emaciated. We brought her to health, got her spayed and promised her she would never be an outdoor dog again! ~~~~ All Dogs Unlimited Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all shots, and are given a monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Upon adoption, all vet records and any current medications are provided to the adopter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application located at http://www.dogsunlimitedrescue.org/Adopt.html THE SUBMISSION OF YOUR APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE AN ADOPTION NOR DOES IT OBLIGATE YOU TO ADOPT. Multiple applications are accepted for any available pet and a home is chosen that is the best match between the available pet and the potential furever family. Your application will be processed as quickly as possible and if approved, a home visit would be scheduled. No adoption is final until an Adoption Agreement is presented and agreed to by both parties. Our goal is to find the right match of our dogs to their new family so all involved are furever happy! Questions: email adopt@dogsunlimitedrescue.org And THANK YOU for considering a rescue dog for your family!
