My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Einstein is a beautiful 40lb, 8 month old, Blue Heeler. Despite his young age, he has already been traumatized into a fearful state of being. He needs a compassionate household where he can feel SAFE! This would include a patient owner who recognizes his fear but also provides him with the confidence to overcome them. Einstein is great with other dogs though is fearful of dogs bigger than him. And we do prefer a home with another dog to help bring Einstein out of his shell even faster. He simply needs to learn how to cope with new situations and to be treated with kindness and positive reinforcement. Einstein must have a home that is low in chaos. No rambunctious children or families who speak loudly or argue in any way. Raised voices cause Einstein to hide in his crate and that type of atmosphere will stifle his progress. This sweet boy shows you that he wants to be loved. He'll put his head in your lap and loves to cuddle. Once he bonds to you, he will follow you around and become more confident in doing new things. Many fall in love with this boy's very gentle nature. He is currently very low energy due to his shyness but we predict he'll blossom in time and become more active. He is a super smart boy who knows how to sit and would do great with additional basic obedience. He's very attentive, responsive and eager to please. If you are that understanding owner who wants to be Einstein's 'hero', contact us! We've seen dogs blossom before and in time, you would never know they were frightened or unsure about anything! All Dogs Unlimited Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all shots, and are given a monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Upon adoption, all vet records and any current medications are provided to the adopter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application located at http://www.dogsunlimitedrescue.org/Adopt.html THE SUBMISSION OF YOUR APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE AN ADOPTION NOR DOES IT OBLIGATE YOU TO ADOPT. Multiple applications are accepted for any available pet and a home is chosen that is the best match between the available pet and the potential furever family. Your application will be processed as quickly as possible and if approved, a home visit would be scheduled. No adoption is final until an Adoption Agreement is presented and agreed to by both parties. Our goal is to find the right match of our dogs to their new family so all involved are furever happy! Questions: email adopt@dogsunlimitedrescue.org And THANK YOU for considering a rescue dog for your family!
