Tori's Story...
This sweet girl is sooo pretty! She is around a year old and arrived in rescue very skinny and very frightened. She was not used to a lot of human contact so she didn't know what to expect. She is small for a full grown cat and only weighs about 7 lbs. She has beautiful eyes and coloring. She is GREAT with other cats and kittens and I catch her grooming the kittens all the time. It took her the longest to learn to trust but once she did, she found out how enjoyable it is to be petted! She stays clear of the dogs (she's not sure what to think of them yet) but she doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body so if she had to live with a nice one, she would be fine. She LOVES her window seat and is a very quiet, loving girl!!! If you have a place in your heart and your home to continue showing this sweet girl how nice and loving humans can be, we welcome your application which can be downloaded from Tori is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, has had her rabies shot and is ready for a new home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tori, a Beachwood Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Beachwood, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Beachwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Beachwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Beachwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Beachwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
