Braxton's Story...
Purebred Shih-Tzu 3 years old, male-neutered, 17 lbs. Good with dogs! Good with children! Good with cats! Crate trained and housebroken! Fenced in yard preferred Braxton is 'special needs' because he has “dry eye” and requires eye drops (Optimune) daily for the rest of his life (monthly cost is about $30) Braxton is a sweet and loving and low energy little boy who is well worth it!!! To see more pictures of adorable Braxton please go to: http://www.dogsunlimitedrescue.org/available_pets.htm To take the first step in adopting Braxton please download an Adoption Application at: http://www.dogsunlimitedrescue.org/applications.htm All Dogs Unlimited Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all shots, and are given a monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Upon adoption, all vet records and any current medications are provided to the adopter. The completion of the application does NOT, in any way, obligate you to adopt. It is the first step in meeting a dog you are interested in [once the application is approved, the second step will be a home visit/meet and greet with your pet(s) Our goal is to find the right match of our dogs to their new family so all involved are “furever” happy! Questions: email diane@dogsunlimitedrescue.org or gina@dogsunlimitedrescue.org And THANK YOU for considering a rescue dog for your family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Braxton, a Beachwood Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Beachwood, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Beachwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Beachwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Beachwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Beachwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
