My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Black Beauty if a purebred Black German Shepherd. She is around 2 years old, and 65 lbs (underweight). She is very sweet though a little shy and fearful of men. At the current time (she is new in rescue and has suffered severe trama), she is insecure and has some separation anxiety. We have not posted the graphic pictures of this poor girl but she as chemical burns on approximately 50% of her body. We do not know what happened to her … all we know is that she was in excruciating pain with open wounds all over her body for at least two weeks before Animal Control could catch her. She is on several medications to assist with healing and pain. We do know from her blood work and biopsy results that this is NOT allergies, skin cancer, or any auto-immune disease. It appears that this was some kind of chemical burn.
