Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Purebred Siberian Husky (sheâÂÂs been DNA tested) Around 3 years old 30 lbs. (at least 10 lbs. underweight) Female (will be spayed and micro-chipped) Sustained a broken hip from getting hit by a car while running loose as a stray Up-to-date on vaccinations! Good with dogs! Good with cats! Extremely shy/timid/skittish so she cannot go in a home with young children (she seems to have been badly abused and is very hand shy) She also appears to have been on the run for quite some time so she requires a securely FENCED IN YARD (not invisible fencing) because sheâÂÂs a big âÂÂflight riskâ Working on her housebreaking and crate training skills She hates being confined but must be in a crate when unsupervised or she will destroy things out of separation anxiety She is also an extremely picky eater so will need someone who is willing to cook human food for her until she can eventually get used to dog food Lady would do best in a home where her owner doesnâÂÂt work or works out of their home and can spend a lot time with her and is also willing to take her to obedience classes to help boost her self-esteem. Lady would also do best in a home with other animals (dogs and cats) as they help to make her feel safe and secure and more at ease. She's a very special girl who requires a special owner but is as sweet as can be!
