Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chihuahua 9 months old (born 10/1/10); 5 ½ lbs. A total lap dog (loves being held!)⦠loves all people. Doing well on house-breaking and is Crate-trained. Neutered, utd on all shots, on FrontLine/Heart Guard. Available to homes with no children or children older than 10. Louie has the typical âÂÂChihuahuaâ personality of thinking heâÂÂs a big monster. He will closed-mouth growl (which sounds more like a gurgle) at dogs he doesnâÂÂt know. If they get too close, he does his Chi âÂÂbig boy attack-n-runâÂÂ. In his âÂÂhomeâ environment, however, he is fine with his âÂÂfamilyâÂÂ. He is being socialized every day with small (9 week old) puppies, blind dogs, deaf dogs, a Schnauzer, other ChiâÂÂs, a border collie mix, a yorkie, poodle, etc. He seems to growl more at the bigger dogs but again, at home, is a loving little doll face with humans and dogs alike. Louie does love people! He is passed around at adoption events to men and woman. Anyone can pick him up and heâÂÂs fine and loving. He was surrendered to Cleveland Kennels because he is not good with children (most ChiâÂÂs arenâÂÂt) so we do not test his limits and will not adopt to small children.
