Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Poor Oscar was one of 25 dogs we rescued from a horrendous hoarding situation and he was one of the most sever medical cases. Oscar came to use with extreme anxiety from the excruciating pain he was in from the horrific infection caused by urine burns. The poor guy had nothing to do in his cage but chew on his own skin to try to ease the pain and give him something to do while sitting in that cage suffering. After suffering many years of severe neglect we were relieved to rescue Oscar and get him the medical treatment he needed. He is now doing much better and is getting a lot of TLC in his foster home where his foster mom just gave us an update that Oscar 'doesn't have that yeast smell anymore and he is soft and shiny. He's stopped itching and doesn't have to wear a coat anymore. He is really healing nicely and finally seems at peace (most of the time!).' Oscar is a purebred Cocker Spaniel and once his skin finally heals and his fur grows back he will be handsome as ever! He is around 8 years old and is good with other dogs, kids, and cats, though we would love for Oscar to go to a home where he can get 100% of the time and attention - he certainly deserves it! Oscar is partially vision impaired and is on a special diet. Oscar has special needs and so he is looking for a special person/family that can provide him the furever home he has longed for and so deserves that can give him lots of love, time, and patience.
