Charlotte's Story...
Charlotte is an 8-year-old purebred Snowshoe (here is more information about the breed: http://cattime.com/cat-breeds/snowshoe-cats).  She's as sweet as she is pretty and loves to cuddle up next to you or, preferably, in your lap.  Although shy at first, once you earn her trust she will not leave your side.  She's used to dogs and other cats. She was surrendered with Owen; they get along great, but are not bonded, so can be placed together or separately.

Like all WAG animals, Charlotte is spayed and fully up-to-date on her vet care. WAG only accepts applications from New Hampshire residents and from residents of communities in Maine, Vermont, and Massachusetts that are on the New Hampshire border. If you are interested in applying to adopt Charlotte, a WAG adoption application can be found at http://www.wearewag.org/adopt.htm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlotte, a Weare Snowshoe cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Snowshoe for sale in Weare, or seeking a Snowshoe cat from a breeder in Weare.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Weare already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Weare breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Snowshoe breeders who help with Snowshoe rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Weare paves the way for another one to be saved.
