Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Amber's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, declawed, and not good with kids.

Amber's Story...
Amber is only about 2 yrs old and seeks out being petted now. She has come a long way in the last two months, after coming to us grouchy and hissy, refusing to eat, and sitting in her litter box. She was returned to us because she hates children, to the point we wonder if she were abused whether accidentally or on purpose. Her previous owners also went against our organization's policy and had her front declawed, which probably didn't help her feelings. Amber loves to be petted now, and play with her stick toy. She has a huge purr! Other fosterers have come and met her, and she has been polite and enjoyed their pets, too, so we feel she is ready for a forever home. We are looking for someone without other pets or children. She would be fine if someone worked during the day, but of course the more you are around her, the faster she will learn to trust in you, too.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amber, a Bentonville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bentonville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bentonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bentonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bentonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bentonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
