Hello there, it is soooo nice to meet you! My name is Tilly, what is your name? Would you like to learn a little about me?
Okay, then let me tell you. Golly, where should I start? Well, as you have probably guessed, I’m a Chihuahua of the lady like persuasion. I’m a young adult, approximately 3 years, and I am full grown. I can be very shy at first, but I don’t hesitate to be sassy either. Although I can be withdrawn at first, as soon as you show me love, ear scratches…and maybe some treats…I’ll be your best gal pal ever!
During the day, I like to follow my favorite people wherever they go. I’d prefer to be on your lap, and have you rub my radar ears. As far as exercise goes, I enjoy walking nicely on a leash, and am doing pretty good with potty training. (I am not above using a potty pad in this cold weather!) If you need someone to attack small stuffed animals in your home – I am totally the girl to do it. I may be small, but I am mighty! In fact, I can be a little bossy with the other dogs in my home, so I’ve been working on my manners. I do happen to be a little bit of the "typical sassy chihuahua type", and sometimes I forget that I am not the boss of everybody. Behaving is tough, but this little heart is full of motivation! I am nice to the cat in my home, and a, very nervous around kids or adults that move quickly, or try to pick me up right away. I have quite the dainty figure, and am pretty darned tiny- even for a Chihuahua. . However – when I get to play’n – I run around the house at top speed! My foster mom says I make her think of a spunky chipmunk. Sometimes a girl just has got to get wild, am I right? Oh, and I will absolutely wear little sweaters and snuggle up under the covers to keep your toes warm at night. I’m the best little cuddler there ever was!

My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, De-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food.

You can fill out a simple online adoption application at www.nbsar.org and we will start processing your application right away! We do require that persons interested in meeting me apply online and be approved as an adopter first so please visit our website and submit your application today!
Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on it's vaccinations and heartworm preventative as well as spayed/neutered unless there is a documented medical reason on file with your veterinarian. Dogs must be current on DHLPP, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative, cats must be current on Distemper, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative at the time of application.
