Rosie is a 3 year old female that came from a shelter. Rosie has a lot of mischief in her. Her foster mom has to lock the trash cans and watch everything so Rosie won't get into things. But Rosie is a cute little girl. Rosie is an alpha so she would do best as an only dog. Rosie can also be rough so she needs a home without kids. Rosie will do good in dog obedience classes. She's a bit of a wild child that needs to be tamed. Rosie's owner must be willing to take her through a basic dog obedience class and provide proof of completion within four months of the adoption. Proof of enrollment in a dog obedience is required before/at the adoption. If you would like to be considered to adopt Rosie, you must first apply. Then please contact linda@schnauzerrescue.net. Rescue Schnauzers usually weigh between 15-25 pounds, they are up to date on shots, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered prior to placement. We make reasonable efforts to evaluate the health and temperament of each dog, however we cannot make any guarantees. We are not a shelter and do not have a central facility. All dogs are kept in foster homes located throughout the area we cover. PLEASE NOTE: We rescue schnauzers in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC and southern Pennsylvania. We can only accept applications within a reasonable driving distance of our areas of coverage. Please read the list at the top of the on-line application to see if you are in our area.
