Daphne 6536's Story...
My name is Daphne! I am an 8 month old Labrador/Retriever Blend. I came to Paws when I was a wee puppy and now I am back because my previous family could not give me the time to properly train me. I am still a puppy, so I still have puppy issues that with love and training I will learn to stop doing. Like any puppy, I love to play and jump and run around. I need a family who wants to play with me and run around with me. I am ok with some dogs and cats. I still need to do a meet and greet before going home with another dog. I am housebroken as well. I would love to go home with a family and grow old with them. I already love you, will you love me? Daphne is microchipped, spayed, up to date on all vaccinations and has been heartworm tested.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daphne 6536, a Columbus Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
