Betsey-ADOPTED's Story...
Betsey has not had the best life thus far. She lived in a home that had a constant flow of "replacement" pets after the household animals ran off or were hit by a car. After Betsey's home was condemned, her family left her behind to fend for herself, checking on her very rarely. It's no surprise that she was trying to escape the home and running around the area searching for food. We have finally impounded Betsey and are happy to say that she is now available for adoption. Betsey is about 2 years old. This sweet girl deserves a fresh start where she will be a cherished family pet and she will have the love and care that she's lacked so far in her life. If you are interested in giving Betsey a forever home, stop in and meet her today and ask to fill out an application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betsey-ADOPTED, a Troy Hound (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Troy, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Troy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Troy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Troy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Troy paves the way for another one to be saved.
