Penny's Story...
Hi I'm Penny and I'm a wonderful little boxer mix. My brothers have all been adopted but I had to hang back for a bit to get checked out by a cardiologist. You see, I have a heart murmur, but the good news from the heart doctor is that its just a birth defect and with a inexpensive medication (approx $8-12 per month) I should live a long and happy life. I'm ready for my new home now though. I love to play and can't wait to learn all the things a puppy like me needs to know.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penny, a Foster Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Foster, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
