Jaxson's Story...
Please visit our main website at for most recent list of available Boxers and to fill out an adoption application. Due to the volume of inquiries our volunteers receive we are unable to reply to inquiries without a completed adoption application.

We rescued neglected brother and sister from Upland. They came in with no fur and secondary skin infections due to demodex mange. It’s a very treatable condition and they have come a long way with fur returning quickly. With just a little more TLC and medication the mange will be a thing of the past. Georgia and her brother were likely the result of back yard breeders. She has not been exposed to much in the world and need someone to guide her and train her. Things like leash manners and keeping all four paws on the ground when meeting others will come with training. They love each other and are learning to make new friends. She is so sweet and really wants to please. Anyone with Boxer experience will have a wonderful companion who will be forever grateful.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jaxson, a Encino Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Encino, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
