Eugene's Story...
Eugene is an 11-pound orange tabby who is almost two years old. He is sometimes known as Eugino or Gino, but being a cat, he doesn't answer to any of them. He has a lot of energy and loves to be around people. He would be particularly happy with owners that have a young child that would give him the love he desires. He likes to snuggle and and be loved, and he is not able to get that in his current situation. Eugene is an indoor only cat.

It would be great if he and his Earl -- the handsome gray tabby in the pictures with Eugene-- could go to the same family, but is not necessary.

If you have Instagram and search for #richardeugeneparker or #earldakat you can see many cute pictures of Eugene and his brother Earl as they grew up.

To learn more about Eugene and arrange to meet him, contact his current caregiver Rose at 775 217-3897.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eugene, a Fallon Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fallon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Fallon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fallon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fallon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fallon paves the way for another one to be saved.
