Emmy's Story...
Little Emmy is about half the size of her sister Darby. They were abandoned in a small town near Columbus. They look to be around 9 weeks old and by the size of their feet they are not going to be real big dogs when they grow up. Emmy is the talker of the two. She likes to tell you all about her day. When you pick her up she crawls up by your neck and gives the best hugs. Emmy has been dewormed and had her first vaccination.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emmy, a Columbus Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
