Gracie's Story...
Hi, my name is Gracie. Isn't that a beautiful name. I am estimated to be 3 years old. Some people think I look like a Black and Tan Coonhound and some think I look like a shepherd. Well, maybe I'm a mixture of both - all I know is that I'm a pretty girl!

I recently arrived at the shelter after I was found and taken to an Animal Control facility. A nice lady rescued me from there, as it was a kill facility, and brought me to Gail's Pets so that I could find a forever home. I sure hope you can help me with that.

Gracie also sits, lays down, shakes and she's almost conquered rolling over, and she is extremely playful and very affectionate with people.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black and Tan Coonhound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Black and Tan Coonhound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home.
