Alexi Lou's Story...
Alexi Lou, or "Lexi", is the sweetest "little" girl! Ok, maybe not so little but she is sweet! She is 3 months old and weighs 22 pounds. Lexi is very social, loves everyone she meets including other dogs and cats and snuggles with the kids! She is working on housebreaking but is not quite housebroken yet. She knows "sit" and "shake" already though...she's going to be a smart girl! If you're interested in adopting Lexi, please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org (under the Adoptable Dogs tab) and download an app then email it back to us! Lexi is in foster care in West TN and will be transported to an adopter once her adoption is finalized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alexi Lou, a Hagerstown Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees puppy from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
