Independence's Story...
Independence, Indy to her friends, is a sweetheart that loves people. She is our current child education dog that has traveled all over the starte as a bite prevention ambassador.
Indy plays well with her male buddies but can be dominate with some females. And cats are just too much fun to chase!
Indy has tested negative for heartworm and is UTD on vaccines. She has been spayed and will be microchipped before finding her forever home. She is a typical Pitty- happy, energetic, bouncy and gives great kisses!
Independence is a blue brindle and white Pit Bull Terrier mix. Her approximate DOB was 6/12/12 and her date of arrival was 6/12/14.
Due to her breed, please check local ordinances before placing your application. Please contact Bellwether Harbor with any additional questions.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Fremont, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Fremont.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fremont already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fremont breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
