Clover's Story...
Name: Clover
Color: Black
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Gender: Female
Age: 2 Years
This shy little cutie is Clover and she is looking for her loving forever home. She is a very timid girl who is hesitant with new people. Despite her nerves, she so desperately wants to be loved and will cautiously approach you to be petted.
Big fan of: She loves having her cheeks rubbed and rubbing her head against your hands. Clover is a very sweet girl who just needs an extra special, patient home that will nurture her and teach her that the world isn't so scary after all.
Dream Home: She is used to being around other cats and would likely do well in a home with a confident, mellow male that can help reassure her. Given how shy Clover is, she really needs a home without any dogs because they will overwhelm her. Clover also needs a quiet, adult only home that can give her the patient, individualized attention she will need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clover, a Bellingham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
