My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boomer
3-5 yr old Male-Red and White Tabby DSH

Boomer is a big stocky arm full of love. That is how he got the name Boomer. When he jumps on the floor you can hear a big thud! He is easy going and always ready for affection and enjoys sitting on your lap or beside you as you watch TV but is never demanding. This boy can be very chatty and will carry on a conversation with you speaking in chirps, trills and meows. Brushing his beautiful plush coat always gets him purring.

Boomer was found in an industrial park where there is a known feral colony. Apparently someone dropped this docile soul off there thinking he would just join the ferals but a feral cat is a totally different animal than a domesticated cat, especially one with a sweet disposition like Boomer's. Boomer walked up to an employee in a parking lot rubbing against him and begging to be taken from his distressing predicament. The employee could not take him home but brought him food the next day. He then noticed that the ferals had beat Boomer up leaving his ears and nose bloody and scabbed. Then the next day the employee saw Boomer in the median on the main highway leading into the industrial park, trying to escape is abusers. The employee knew he could not leave Boomer in this dangerous situation so he made a U turn and rescued him. He then called one of our foster homes asking if we could take him in and we are so glad he did. Boomer is a delight and would love to be the center of your universe.

Boomer's wounds are all healed and he is so grateful to be indoors and safe. He is a very tidy cat, does not make a mess with his food and is litter box perfect. This chubby fellow loves to just hang out with his people and will even tolerate another non aggressive cat or friendly dog. Boomer would appreciate a nice quiet home where he can spend his days lounging and sunbathing.
