Olivia's Story...
Olivia is a two and a half year old female short hair blue Russian cat. She appeared one day outside her foster home while they were walking their dog and followed them home. Soon after, every time they walked the dog she would appear and follow them home. Olivia spent her days hanging out in a tree watching the neighborhood activity. Her foster home decided Olivia deserved a life inside and after healing her skin wounds from allergies to fleas and having her vetted they took her into their home. Olivia is very smart and has endless energy when it comes to play time! She loves bags and boxes and chasing toys. She loves to be held and cuddled and is very vocal and will talk back to you! She gets along great with female cats and her foster dog sibling. She is an all-around loveable cat looking for her forever home and family.

Adoption fee is a minimum $75 per cat donation to Feral Fixers . All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and felv/fiv negative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olivia, a Lombard Russian Blue cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Russian Blue for sale in Lombard, or seeking a Russian Blue cat from a breeder in Lombard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lombard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lombard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Russian Blue breeders who help with Russian Blue rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lombard paves the way for another one to be saved.
