Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bah... Humbug! That's what I think about being abandoned as a baby, and being caught in a trap not once but TWICE while still just a tiny kitten. Even though I was only 2 months old, people said I was feral, and would never make a suitable pet. HUMBUG! They didn't know that I YEARNED for a home of my own, but was just terrified. The shelter is a scary place - so many loud noises, so many other frightened animals - I didn't know what would happen to me! But then a miracle happened! I lady from the rescue came to meet me, saw the fear in my eyes, but believed in me. She wanted to give me a chance for happiness, so she took me home and settled me into a warm, comfy room with a new bed, toys, plenty of food and water, and more love than I had known in my whole life. She taught me that humans can be trusted, and I found that I really enjoy being held and petted. Getting kisses on my nose and having my belly rubbed make me feel so special! The vet was super impressed by me, because I purred through my whole exam (they had to work hard to make me STOP purring, so he could listen to my chest!), and I even kept purring while getting my microchip and shots! I just wanted to let him know that I was thankful for this chance at having a home and family, and that I definitely am NOT feral. ;) Now I'm ready to find my Forever home - is that with you? If you want to learn more about me, please contact the rescue people at info@FORrescue.net, so we can get started on our Happily Ever After together! Love, Humbug.
