My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Grayson is a 1 year old Cattle Dog mix. He currently weighs 18 pounds and needs to gain a little weight.

He is such a nice combination. He is small but is very agile and fast. Once he got settled in and got more confident around the other dogs he was very interested in playing with them.

He is house broken. I have a dog door and fenced in yard and he is a little shy about the dog door but dances when he has to go out.

Grayson loves people and loves to cuddle. I have not needed to crate him because he doesn't chew or go the bathroom in the house. He rode great in the car. It has been cold and icy so I have not been walking the dogs on a leash but they have just been playing with each other in the house and yard. He seems like he would be content to cuddle or be game for a long walk if you were going with him. I think he would be an equal opportunity cuddlier with men, women and children.

Grayson does not have a heavy coat and when I bathed him he did not shed much but with better nutrition it may get thicker. He wasn't crazy about the bath but did just sit there. He is not food aggressive and has learned to sit with food. You can touch him anywhere. He is fine with cats.

Grayson was found as a stray and was very underweight. He has some scars on his ears like life hasn't been smooth for him. The great thing is he is still hopeful that people can be kind and will try and win your heart.
