Maggie's Story...
Maggie is only 9 weeks old and very petite. In this picture she’s on the left with her twin brother Matt on her right. She thinks laps were made for her. She is people oriented, will follow you wherever you go, is reserved and a bit timid when she first meets people, is very loving and definitely a lap cat.

She has been spayed, microchipped, has her first set of vaccinations including her leukemia vaccination, has been treated for fleas and worms and has tested negative for feline leukemia.

Her adoption fee is $90 and includes one month free sheltercare pet insurance.

Maggie is in foster care until January 14th then she will be at Petsmart. To visit Maggie prior to her being at Petsmart please call to arrange a time to visit with her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Salem Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Salem, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
