Jimbo's Story...
Jimbo #2310 is an 8-month-old male, Pointer mix. This little pup is shy at first but he warms up quickly! He loves to run and play outside and always comes back to you for a pet on the head or a belly rub. Jimbo is extremely smart; he knows most basic commands and is kennel trained. He will weigh about 30 pounds when full grown. Just like any puppy, this pup will need a loving home with an adopter that has the time to commit to continued puppy training to assist with house, leash and obedience training. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html and return it per instructions. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jimbo, a Waldorf Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Pointer dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
