Hanna is a spaniel/terrier mix who is about 7 years old. She weighs 13 lbs. She was found by a Swedish tourist visiting L.A. and taken to a shelter. When no-one claimed her she contacted us to save her. Poor little girl had terrible bladder stones and needed immediate surgery. She is all better now and knows SIT, STAY, COME, and she walks well on the leash. She is a quiet girl, calm and polite around other dogs and good with new people. She warms up quickly. Rarely barks, great on a leash, curious but obedient. She knows to ask nicely before jumping on the furniture and she is perfectly fine about riding in the back seat of the car. Although she follows her person around all day she can be left alone without being anxious, getting into mischief or barking. She’s pretty well housetrained. She is fearful of men and we do not recommend her for a home with small kids. All in all, a very special old girl. She’s had a good home in the past and we don’t know how she ended up a stray but we need to find her a home in which she can spend her golden years.
