Meet RUSTY!! He is the brother to Rosco, even though they have different coats, they have similar personalities. Very happy-go-lucky, friendly with everyone he meets, loves playing with other dogs, good with kids, scared of cats. He settles down nicely & is a quiet boy once playtime is over. He is young at about 10-12 months. Both Rusty & Rosco need a home!

Rusty is neutered, microchipped, dewormed & vaccinated. Adoption fee is $225. For adoption guidelines and to submit an application, please go to this link: http://dollyslegacyanimalrescue.org/adopt/ If you do not receive a reply within 48 hrs of application submission, please email DollysLegacy@aol.com.

Rusty was rescued from the euthanasia list at a high kill shelter in Kentucky. If you cannot adopt, please sponsor his freedom which will help with cost of his vetting & care: https://www.petcaring.com/animal-rescue/kentucky-23-rusty/47815

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RUSTY, a Lincoln Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound dog from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Plott Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
