Lana's Story...
My name is Lana. I am a female brown mackerel tabby kitten. I was born in August 2014 along with my four siblings. My siblings and I were found abandoned in the middle of the street.

I have been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. I am also negative for FIV/FELV.

My brother Buff and I are the largest of the five kittens. I am going to be a pretty big cat when fully grown. I have a very sweet and loving disposition. I would love to be your lap cat. Adopt me by myself or with my sister Squirt.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lana, a Whiting Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Whiting, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Whiting.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Whiting already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Whiting breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Whiting paves the way for another one to be saved.
