Luke's Story...
Isn't this sweet little boy just precious? His name is Luke and he needs a loving home. His mom came to EDCR in distressed labor. She had to have an emergency C- section to save her life and the lives to her two puppies. Now Luke is old enough to find a home of his very own. He is a happy boy who loves to romp around and snuggle. Who wouldn't want to add this adorable boy to their family?! Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Each dog in our rescue is in a loving foster home, where they can grow, play, and recover from their time spent on the streets or in a shelter. If you'd like to meet an adoptable dog, please fill out an application on our website, www.everydogcountsrescue.us. ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS WILL BE ALLOWED TO VISIT OUR AVAILABLE DOGS.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luke, a Indianapolis Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
