Sanford's Story...
"Sanford" 15-0051 / 1-1-0008
Sanford is a friendly guy who came to the shelter as a stray from Louisburg, NC. He is aviailable to a good home because he has not been claimed after his stray hold here at the shelter. We estimate him to be about 3-5 years old and he is seemingly housetrained. He does need a good bath so he may have either ben lost for a few days and gotten dirty or he may have been indoor/outdoor at his previous home. Either way, he is very alert and attentive and willing to please so he will adapt and learn quickly in a new home. Come and meet this guy if interested! Adoption fee $25.00

Act quickly to adopt Sanford. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Louisburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Louisburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Irish Wolfhound breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Irish Wolfhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Louisburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
