Troot's Story...
"Troot" 15-0026 / 4-2-0006
Troot is a 3 year old mixed breed girl who was unfortunately surrendered to our shelter because her owner had to move to another residence and could not take her along. She is spayed and a very sweet girl! She seems to like other dogs and knows her basic commands. She was an inside dog and is housetrained. Troot does not understand why she is here at the shelter as you can imagine.....Is this temporary?...Will her owner turn the corner to pick her up...maybe they were just out of town? Did she make someone upset? These are the things that she must be wondering. The only thing that will ease her mind is being taken back into a loving home where she can quickly adapt to a family who will offer her a good home and lots of love. Troot is available now. Adoption fee $25.00

Act quickly to adopt Troot. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Louisburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Louisburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Rottweiler breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Louisburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
