Meiko's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Meiko's Story...
I am so starved for attention that I cannot hold still long enough to
get a good pet...or picture! I am a purr machine and love to be
loved. I have been sick for a long time but I am finally healthy and
ready to start looking for my FORever home. I will be ready after
January 22 and I cannot wait to get there. I hope I have another
kitten to play with, and I love kids and dogs, too. I am very
outgoing and will greet you at the door when you come home. I know
how to fetch, too! If you would like to meet me, please complete an
application online at http://forrescue.net/cat-application/. All of
FORs babies are in foster homes in Huntsville, AL, NOT cages. They
are felv/fiv negative, up to date on vaccines, spay/neutered, and
micro-chipped! The adoption fee is $75. Applications are reviewed on a
first come first serve basis, so fill out your application today for

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Meiko, a Knoxville Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
