My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Annie is Adopted

Annie is currently being fostered in Painesville Ohio, and her adoption fee/donation is $275

Annie is a darling little (small) female cockapoo, approx 5 yrs old guesstimated by our vet. She was found roaming the streets in Grove City PA. The family that found her had tried many different methods to locate her owner, but to no avail. They had her taken to the vet to be cleaned up, checked out and vaccinated. They had her some time while trying to locate her owners.
They observed some behaviors while having her such as wandering, getting loose and running off, so a fenced in yard is a must for this girl. She also has separation anxiety and howls and cried when left alone for any amount of time. She will even howl of her person leaves the room at times. She really has uneasiness about being abandoned, left behind.

On the positive side, Annie has an awesome temperament, she is absolutely wonderful with all children regardless of age. She is happiest when with a child, she lights up when she sees a toddler or any child and wants to be with them. She is also great with people, a very well socialized little girl who is as friendly as can be.

Annie has been with our rescue for only a few days, since 1-14-15, and has won the hearts of anyone that has met her. She was a little stand offish with other dogs at first, but has been fine since and even seems to enjoy their company.
She is house trained, walks well on a leash, and is just a little bundle of joy, her history, where she came from, was anyone missing her; is all a mystery, but she was obviously a loved pet to someone.
We have seen the tendency to want to get out doors when opened in her, and we can definitely say she would be difficult to catch if she got loose. We will work with her and see how she progresses In the coming days/weeks.

She is scheduled for her spay on Wednesday 1-21-15, and has been vaccinated and tested negative for heartworm.
