Zoot's Story...
Zoot and his sister, Lindy, are looking for a family to call their own. These two cuties are very sweet and social and love to snuggle and they are playful puppies who do fine with other dogs and cats. These two were surrendered to Goofy Foot by people who wanted the best homes for them and that's what we plan to find for them. Lindy and Zoot are in foster care in West TN where they are finishing up their vetting and starting on housebreaking. Foster homes provide a great place for our puppies to stay while we search for the perfect homes - and they continue to be spoiled! If you're interested in adopting one of these dogs, please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and download an app on the Adoptable Dogs page - then email it back to us!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoot, a Bedminster Fox Terrier (Smooth)/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Fox Terrier (Smooth)/Chihuahua for sale in Bedminster, or seeking a Fox Terrier (Smooth)/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Bedminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Fox Terrier (Smooth)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Fox Terrier (Smooth)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
