Olivia *Barn Cat*'s Story...
Stray

Olivia is approx. 1 year old. Olivia is a very sweet girl who likes to hang with her family when she feels like it but she likes to be outside. She goes to the door and reaches up to the door handle to let you know she wants out. Olivia is living with other kitties but asks that they respect her space. We are recommending that for this lovely, spicy and sassy girl, that her new home have children over the age of 10 or adult only home where they understand that cats do not always like to be picked up and/or petted. We feel she would make a great mouser, so if you have a workshop or barn with a vermin problem, this is the girl for you!

Olivia's adoption fee is $25.00. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, initial vaccinations, parasite treatment, one month discount on pet insurance, courtesy vet exam, and plenty of post adoption support.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olivia *Barn Cat*, a Vancouver Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
