Salvia's Story...

Salvia is perfect if you are looking for a nice, well-adjusted turtle for your environment. Saba's shell is currently 6 inchs so she is going to need a tank 55 gallons or more to keep her comfy. Salvia and her friends came to the rescue after being found in a forclosed abandoned home.  The Red Ear Sliders are great in groups and are entertaining to watch as they interact with each other. Red Ear Sliders are the most commonly found turtles in the world, but are actually native to the Southeaster United States. Basking is their favorite hobby and they are omnivores and eat pellets, vegetation, fish, mollusks, etc.

Salvia's adoption fee is $15.00. Please contact her foster home at 360-597-8137 for more information

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Salvia, a Vancouver Turtle - Other was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Turtle - Other for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Turtle - Other from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Turtle - Other breeders who help with Turtle - Other rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
