Daphne's Story...

Daphne is an adorable, playful 4 month old puppy that came all the way from California in hopes of finding her forever home. Daphne will need a home that can provide for her the time and energy it takes raising a puppy and guide her in the ways of growing up into a fantastic canine citizen. Puppies are incredibly cute but they need guidance, commitment and a whole lot of patience. Like all puppies, Daphne will need continued socialization, help with house-training and outlets for her youthful energy. We highly recommend taking Daphne through a puppy class where she can start learning basic manners, meet other people and dogs. We also recommend continuing to crate-train your new puppy. Daphne loves, kids, cats and other digs but is not to entirely sure of a leash. With love, patience and understanding she is sure to grow into a wonderful canine companion. If you truly are ready for a puppy then this great puppy is ready for you!

Daphne's adoption fee is $250.00. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip ID, Heart Worm testing and preventative, collar, Parasite prevention, general deworming, Vaccines including Rabies, courtesy veterinarian exam, and plenty of post adoption support!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daphne, a Vancouver Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
