Krissy's Story...
Hi – My name is Krissy. I am a kind hearted little Maltese girl who is looking for love. I spent the first 10 years of my life used as a breeding dog. It’s estimated that I had around 12-15 liters of puppies. I only got to be with them for a short while until they were taken and sold.
I was a good momma…. My fostermommy tells me so because I take care of the little critters at her house so nicely. I snuggle up with them and tell them it’s all going to be okay because we are all safe now.

Thanks to A Tail To Tell Rescue, who came and picked us up from the outside hutches where we lived, I now have clean water, warm food and a comfy bed! No more cold nights outside for me!

I am looking for a family to call my own… I would prefer a fenced in yard; but I do walk on leash. I would like to spend my days and nights being the center of my new families world. I sleep right next to my fostermom at night… I really don’t like being put into a crate, it scares me and reminds me of my previous life.

What do you say? Could YOU love me forever? Please find additional information and application at www.atailtotell.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Krissy, a Mount Gretna Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Mount Gretna, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Mount Gretna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mount Gretna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mount Gretna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mount Gretna paves the way for another one to be saved.
