Hi – I’m a 3 yr old girl who is very shy until we get to know each other. I'm spayed, up-to-date on all my shots, potty-trained, good with kids, don't mind other dogs, not fond of cats, and prefer to be in the company of humans. I hope to find a home with a backyard with a fence at least 5-6ft as I've been known to be quite the jumper. Sometimes I can be territorial with other dogs in my home environment, but play well at doggie daycare.
What I enjoy most are car rides, playing with my tennis balls and other chew toys, or just laying in bed relaxing with my foster parents.
If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful girl the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting!
'Miais a participant in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so her ongoing care and custody are provided by her foster, not by DFWRM.'

You'll receive a copy, too, at to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
