Hi, my name is Richie. I'm a basset/terrier mix, kind of a low-rider boy! I've been with my foster mommy since I was 2 mos old healing from some non-contagious mange. I'm a very handsome guy, who my foster mommy says I'm a biggest sweet heart ever! I love to play with my foster family (dogs & cats) here. I love fun times! I'm a people kind of guy, and so many of them fall in love with me right away. I'm pretty darn good on a leash, and am perfecting my house-potty training thing. I'm still young, so I still need to do some learning, but this Love stuff, I got that down really good! 100% Love Bug
I was scheduled to be euthanized, but San Antonio Pets Alive! saved me and now they are helping me find the forever, loving home that I have never known.
I am currently located at San Antonio Pets Alive!, and I am in a foster home. By adopting me, you not only give me a new leash on life; you also save the life of the additional dog who can be rescued from euthanasia and placed in foster care.
If you are interested adopting, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with Pet name and ID#. Please allow us up to 24 hours to respond as all fosters work with us on a volunteer basis.
