Bonnie is a sweet 4 year old boxer-pit mix who is needing to be the only dog in a home. She is generally calm and does very well inside. She is house trained and crate trained. She loves to find small, cozy places to snuggle up.
Bonnie has been through some training and knows sit, down, stay and come. She does very well on a leash except becoming excited when other dogs are around. She loves to snuggle and be warm and does not like the cold or storms.
She is spayed, micro-chipped, up to date on vaccinations and generally healthy. She had one seizure in the past (Nov 2014) but has never had an another. As a precaution, she was also started on an inexpensive daily medication. She is a wonderful girl who will make a great addition to a family where she is the only pet.
If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting!
'This handsome girl is a participant in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so her ongoing care and custody are provided by her foster, not by DFWRM.'
