My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

1 Year old Male Bichon!!!
Someone gave this Sweet boy as a Christmas present and the recipient could not keep him as he does not like to be alone at home all day and she is single, lives alone in an highrise in NYC and is rarely home. We picked him up last week and He is currently with one of our Foster's but needs to get a new home or foster asap.

He has all his vaccinations and is microchipped, but is not neutered (which we are paying to have done at our vet at the end of January). He is NOT house trained and needs someone willing to train him properly (this may take several weeks or even months) so if you are not willing to stick it out and train him, or do not have experience with house training a dog, than this is not the dog for you. He also needs help with separation anxiety as he has been bounced around 3-4 times in his short 1 year of life. He was matted when we got him so he needed to be shaved down. He is currently shaved short, but that will grow back soon.

We will need an adoptive home or foster home ASAP for this sweet little guy! We prefer a home from someone that lives here in Northern or Central NJ and where there is a stay at home person or someone that is not out too long during the day, he does not like being alone. Not sure how he is with young children, but older children should be fine. Also he is wary of most dogs and barks at them. He would need to be tested around other dogs, so also prefer a home where he is the only dog or you have a submissive dog.
